Twisterless Ken\'s famous last words

Commenting on the stability and quality build of ParaHandy's Tradewind 35, in a F6

"This boat has a very dry cockpit."

Whereupon 30 seconds later, about 500 litres of foamy seawater lept from the windward bow and caught TK smack in the face !!

The rest of us were all highly sympathetic, despite peeing ourselves with laughter - apart from Jimi of course, who was nowhere to be seen.

Ho ho ho!

We also took a couple of greenies into an otherwise dry cockpit. Interesting to see how long it takes to drain away. Some confused seas, but a great trip back and some smiley faces wheeling their sea trunks and barrels of wine off into the yonder.

Duncan superglued

We had a dry trip back sat behing the screen, but Duncan superglued himself to the wheel for 12 hours - poor fella looked like something from wallace and grommet as the greenies hit him full in the face..I'll let him tell the tale.

Re: Twisterless Ken\'s famous last words

Being a yachtmaster I of course immediately perceived that 5 in the cockpit was too full, TK had a full kip on the way across after being rescued from the Twister which was unable to cope, ParaH was under instructions from his brother SaddamH to watch his back and the rest preferred the view from the top, so with bitter regret I crawled into the Pilot berth in Cherbourg and emerged at C&N.
