naa

Bit harsh Dylan, it will have been someones pride and joy.

just because some-one loves something that is no reason not to make a value judgement on it

there are people who love Tranmere rovers - it does not mean that no-one should say what a bad team they are

Audacity is a waste of good wood, good engines, dock space

I assume that it will eventually be dumped ashore and meet up with a splash of gasoline and a match

looks a bit like the tri that Lakey made; but a bit bigger.

OK, there are design aspects which are a bit rough and ready, but if it works, and gives the owner pleasure - hey diddle !

Dylan missed out some of the best titbits on this wonder boat.

The hulls are made from 3mm door skins from the local diy store.

The hulls are joined, sort of, by totally inadequate cross beams. These will fail in any sort of sea. If you can find the high res pics look at the cross beam joints. Even Hotrod the constructor of the Flying Hawaiian [ still afloat ] could do better.

The outboard mounts are weak and again will fail as they get torqued off the cross beams.

There is no keel or skeg. There are no rudders.go along

Steering is accomplished by using the throttles.

The buyer has announced his intent to motor the thing to South America. The builder was offered the opportunity to go along on the delivery, he [wisely] declined.

I think it is a shame that the builder never looked at the construction of the Wharram cats specifically how they attached the cross beams to hulls. Wharram usually advocates a bit of car tyie in there to give some resilience. View attachment 45135
