We could get all the freeview channels last year when we were in Yarmouth Harbour, now we can only get BBC4 and ITV3 and a few selling channels. Has anything changed with freeview?

I have retuned the receiver and it went from CH21 to CH68 (or 69) but still no joy

The power Aerial is a Triax UFO and I will take it off the radar arch today to check for corrosion on the connection

Anyone got any ideas? I'd like to watch the England match tomorrow in digital

There was a frequency change I think last year sometime but you say you have retuned so its not that.

only issue I have sometimes on IOW is because you are so close to the Tx station I switch off my booster and this prevents the freezing of the pix

Good luck

Blast - it looks like I need a new aerial system then. The connection to the aerial was clean but the little red light on the aerial is not coming on The actual aerial control box does have a light on.

We recently replaced our fixed analogue TV's to digital, and bought a new Glomex Digital aerial. The results were most disappointing. However, after much headscratching, and the missing of many programmes we wanted to see, I got a marine electrician to look at it.

It turned out the signal from the aerial was not reaching the three way splitter in the cabin. It took two hours of searching through the co-ax cable routing to find that a connector had been wrongly fitted. Having put that right, we now have perfect reception.

Perhaps it would be worth checking your cable run to see if you have any connection problems before replacing the aerial?
