That looks like a very nice canoe ride - anyone fancy a day at that later in the season? I wouldnt mind roofracking my dinghy for the trip.

Not missed much.... its mainly upriver in a canoe!... only as far seaward as Sudbury...

why dont we go up the Stour, beach out at Manningtree on a Saturday morning, take the flood up the river with a picnic package, and then float back on the ebb to the boats late Saturday?
Maybe even camp upriver somewhere and come back Sunday morning?

Will have to have a look at the weekends, but should be possible to organise something?

Not sure about the camping.
Would not like to leave Sirenia at anchor unattended overnight.

Diary a bit full before Burnham Week.
We have the BBQ @ the rocks 8th Sept.
Intending to head for the Norfolk Broads at the end of September.

Obviously, beaching out isn't practical.....

But happy to leave the boat overnight at anchor if the water is deep enough /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
