does anybody have experiance with turkish transit logs. We signed our boat in and had tthree days in turkey, on leaving the customs and immigration were closed for the day and we had to leave to catch a flight from athens, so we did not get a chance to sign the boat out or our passports. Whats the best way to keep visitingt turkey from greece without paying the charges and the hassle of spending 2 hrs in the various offices. The boat is owned by 4 people and each time is sailed with a different captain and crew, any ideas welcome. Cheers. Anton

Aside from the boat: you all have "giris"/entry stamps, but no "cikis"/exit stamps. That means that according to the customs database (and yes they have computers) you are still in the country. Which means that your names will be red flagged after expiery of your visas (three months) where you will be considered illegal immigrants. Next time anyone of you presents itself at the Turkish customs (Istanbul airport, any port, Kapikule, wherever), there will be a lot of questions, reproaches and a hefty fine to pay.

Contact a Turkish embassy near you, I'd say.
