I have been trying to find the time to do some research but work load is heavy. Can any one advise me which marinas are the closest to the regional airports. We are looking for an annual contract but need to be as close as possible to an airport, not including Istanbul. Many thanks.

There's a pretty picture which nearly answers your question here:

However, you'll have to go to the detailed pages (right hand menu) to see where the marinas are. Note that most of the airfields are seasonal - charter flights.

Don't forget the possiblities of Kos and Rhodos, both connected by internal flights and ferries to Athens all year round, as well as local seasonal charter flights.

Guess you are looking for year round flights rather than holiday flights that start in May. It may mean that you will need to take an internal Flight to Istanbul and make a connection there. Most of the airports do this connection. We are in Cesme marina and Izmir is an international airport with good links to Istanbul (probably more frequent than the smaller airports). Cesme and Sigarcik are both excellent marinas but neither with a liveaboard community if that is important. Taxi from Cesme is easy to get, we pay 120 Lira and takes under an hour. As said Antalya has good connections and that area is very popular with winter residents but you would not want to be there in the summer and if left the sun can cause damage to the boat (have a friend who experienced this)

I lift the boat and store it ashore between late October and early April so no need for year round flights. The boat has been in the Med. for six years now and noted wrt the sun. Marina has to be safe and secure.

Alanya is good and cheap because it is a long way East. 1 hour 45 mins to Antalya airport, but only costs 10 euro by 7/24 or A2B transfers.

The cost of A2B has increased dramatically and is now more like €55 however, if you use Atlas Jet or Onür airlines from Antalya, you get a free coach from Alanya to Antalya Airport.
