Turkish Gulets

Does anybody know where it might be possible to get some information about Turkish gulets? - which yards design and make them and their comparative qualities. I have only seen pictures of these beautiful boats on the internet but am finding myself seduced. It also seems that you can buy an awful lot of boat for your money. I have a vague dream of renting out the house and sailing around the med for two or three years at some point. Would a gulet be the thing to do it in?

I have seen a number of these Gulets - all were motoring. Usually big - most of them over 50 feet. They are no good as sailing boats. Short masts and sails more for decoration purposes. jordan
