We want to over winter in Turkey next year and get some work done on the boat.... including teak deck repair, build and fit a stern arch and get some canvas work done.

Can anyone recommend a yard/marina..... any pros and cons would be much appreciated?

Yacht Marine in Marmaris is a good choice with plenty of people to do the work. I know an English yacht surveyor there who can advise who to use or not to use and oversee work if you need it. PM me if you want details.
There is a 90 days in 180 days rule for people, but the boat can remain whilst you go home once you have bought a Turkish cruising log which last for 12 months or until the boat leaves Turkey, and can be renewed annuallt for five years, within which you have to take the boat out of Turkey, but can the bring it straight back again and start another five!

Or Netsel, its closer to town and the Sani, but more expensive.

The "yard" as in marina (ie Yat Marine/Netsel) is imo much less important that than the companies/ contractors/individuals actually doing the work.
While some companies/ contractors/individuals can work in one place but not another there are a whole slew of others who can do so in either.
I'd suggsst you may be better off identifying who you want to do the work on your boat before worrying about where it can be done - because all things are possible in Turkey with the right emolliements...
If you're going to select and organise your own contractors and keep an eye on them I'd favour closer to Marmaris as a base (It doesn't have to be Netsel, though there's nothing wrong with it) simply because of the convenience of their being right next to your boat and in particular close to saniye whence all miracles spring. Sound personal references from others who have used the company on their own boat are the be-all and end-all. I found "may mate says" to be seriously risky. You need to find a" Look, this is what he did nd verify it " to be sure.
That said, if you're relying on one contractor to do "the job" remotely it probably doesn't matter much better you find a contractor you can trust to deliver a good job on quote....The good ones will be well up to EMed prices but will deliver that, and take Visa.
Never forget you're not in Yurrup, you're in the East...I say again, never forget it. If it goes well you'll be delighted and most are, but if not you'll be left with your balls swinging in the weather and no one will give a stuff...
