Turbo trouble

Having difficulty getting turbo on my Mercruiser 7.3L repaired. Casing corroded.
Internal parts impossible to source. Any forumites got a solution.

Have you tried Turbo Dynamics in Christchurch? They managed to sort out the turbo's on my CAT's a few years ago, very helpful crowd.

Interesting, they have it listed as john Deere. Maybe a tractor firm could help. Must be a few of those in N.I.

Turbo dynamics are great and well worth a call.

I've just had a text message from Mercuryman, AKA Tom Parker.

He can't login to the forum to advise! He's said your engine will have a Schweitzer turbo and to contact AET Turbos on 01924588022 info@aet-turbos.co.uk

Thanks everyone for you replies. I will certainly follow the lines of enquiry suggested. Frustrating. boat out on hard for over 2 mths. Missed some nice weather too.

D and W engine components say they have the turbo I need based on number I supplied. Have you bought from them before?

No I haven't. Just googling brought them up. Looks like a largish firm and I google street viewed one of their addresses in the states and there is a d&w sign outside the shop.

Shame you can't find anything from the uk firms.

Some John Deere Tractors were actually a re-labelled Zetor Tractor.
