With two recent arrivals,we now have around 10 Turbos mooring at RCC.
We lost one recently, it ventured down to the "Med" last spring. .
Not that suprising a trip except it was via the rivers and canals of France.
Original plan was to take around 8 weeks and via a fairly direct route.
Floods and other natural events soon put paid to that including waiting three days to be able to get under one particular bridge.
The tanks were brimmed on entry to France but this proved to be a waste of time as fuel was freely available everywhere.
Mooring costs were very reasonable and one off payment need for waterway license.
Apparently a very varied population on the waterways included Aussies and KiWIs who buy an ex hire boat and spend a year or two "doing " Europe.
Boat is now waiting to go the final few kilometers to the sea before returning to the UK.
