Mike hi,

I have been up and down the Tunisian coast 3 times - The marinas are excellent and very inexpensive - always one or two liveaboards but a lot seem to leave their boats there for the winter or longer. Loved the entire coast - great ports, not too many anchorages and the authorites prefer you in a port but the costs very low except the marina near Cathage.

My brother was there this year, bit dead in the winter, with a fair number of liveaboards, predominently French and german, so nobody for you to play with. I´ll check with him for places, but I think he liked souse and somewhere else. But of course Sidi bou said, just out of Tunis, was a lovely spot. With easu fights, from tunis. I will be there next year, unless englander sells.
