I have bought a wheel in the past from them, but intense googling has drawn a blank. They are italian, and I think the name starts with an A but more than that I am stumped.

Oh, and it isnt Isotta. i know they do the wheel of the moment, and its lovely, but its also £700!!!!!

Any guesses from the forum sages?

This is the wheel of the moment jrb is talking about.

Incidentally, I had 2x Isottas put on the Sq58 and the flybr one has been outside about 4 months and the surface is starting to bubble, like a bad chrome plating job. Looks a bit crap. Dunno what model or spec it is but it's definitely Isotta and is the same one as fitted to Sq55 and 78 and various Targas. Pic below. Anyway, beware lashing out £700 on these babies...

I bought the Isotta Diamantina for £270 from Banshee Motorsport, but as with jfm's wheel, the chrome on mine is starting to bubble. I wondered if i'd bought the car version, and they do a marine version with stainless, or better chrome plate, maybe that's the £700 job? I use loads of chrome platers who could do me a much better coating on it that would last, but it means getting the laether off first, or rather the problem is that it means having to sew it back on again afterwards.

They look cool as though..

Hmmm. Mine came from Fairline, and has the Fairline shield logo embossed into the leather on the hub. So it ought to be marine quality... but isn't. They must have to replace loads under warranty. I'll put in my warranty claim shortly!

How's La Corse? Yup Calvi and St Flor are lovely. Where are you up to now?
