Thanks. So maybe that's why it was leaking, 39.62mm seal on a 40mm shaft. I know the boat had a small grounding incident a few years ago on charter which required the shaft to be removed, and the cutlass bearing to be replaced, so this may have been a question of fit whatever was readily available to get her back on charter. It's definitely not original which was Tidesmarine. Anyway, new one ordered and on the way.Looking more closely I agree with you...

This one has the same 250, 156 & 37 size markings as well as TTO, SC & F1242 as the original. It looks identical.
