The club is participating in the RYA push the boat out this Saturday. On the off chance anyone is interested here's the notice. There's also a phone number to call which can be obtained from the Paxton Lakes SC website.
Paxton Lakes Sailing Club invites you to enjoy a free sailing taster session on Saturday the 16th of May.
As part of the RYA's initiative to get more people on the water enjoying this fantastic sport, we are holding an open day with free taster sessions on the water. It is also a launch event for the latest additions to our training fleet, two brand new Topper Argo dinghies, recently bought with a Sport England Grant. We'd like to show off these great new boats so come down and take a look and have a sail in one.
We will be having a barbecue in the afternoon (for a small charge) and free tea and coffee for the duration, and club members and instructors will be on hand to chat to about sailing and how you can get into it, perhaps through one of our training courses. It's an event for all the family, so, parents, if your children have been on a course with us, now is the time to try it for yourself!
So that we can get a feel for numbers attending, can you please register your interest by emailing our Commodore, Roger, at commodore@paxtonlakes.org.uk.
Thanks for listening and we look forward to seeing you on the 16th.
