Hello there,
I wish to get some advice from you all about traveling on a cruise.
I am planning a trip with my wife and kids. My wife wants to go on a cruise. When I checked on the internet about different cruises, I read about small ship adventures. It is different from the normal big cruises and looks like more fun and adventurous.
But I am worried about the safety of the kids. Is it advisable to travel on a small ship cruise with the kids? My kids are 12 and 9, and they are too naughty and can get uncontrollable at times. So I am really worried about this. What should I do? Please help me out.

I think you and your family should get on the smallest cruise boat as soon as possible. We'll all enjoy it.

You need to qualify your use of the word cruise. The folks on this forum can help you with details about self hiring a boat on the inland waterways of the UK and probably about going on a barge or boat that comes with a crew to do all the navigation and cooking.
A Thames trip would be wonderful way of exploring the English countryside and is close to both major UK airports.
Ideal holiday for children, lots of new things to keep them occupied and many mooring places have playgrounds and other attractions nearbye, the kids can have the occasional meltdown without bothering the rest of the world.
Good signal for the Ipad generation as well.
My children and grandchildren always crew for me on my visits to the Thames on my boat.
People from all over the world hire boats on the Thames do post again if you need any further useful or helpful information.
One word of warning,it will be a relaxing but somewhat expensive way of exploring.
