Does this weight vs efficiency apply to anchors, just asking ?

Definitely. A 27.2kg (60lb) CQR replaced with an 18kg Knox. With 80HP engine pull, CQR dragged, Knox, holds; setting CQR reset 1:3, Knox 1:60. Handling the anchor from locker to bow, CQR back wrenching, Knox singlehanded.
Tech usually gets more efficient as it gets smaller and lighter, computer memory being an example. So why not battery technology, seems logical to me.
