Trouble in the SofF

I am happy to report there is still no need to bung anyone any money when berthing at any of the Gosport or indeed Portsmouth marinas. The latter provides lavish shopping opportunity for all manner of ladies & gentlemans atire, the former several outlets for provisioning

I agree however we have been lacking the sun a bit this year ������ berthed at gosport looking over historic portsmouth is great and no bribes needed

In all the times we stayed in St Tropez we never had to bribe anyone!

Though we were pretty organised and I would send a fax request, early in the year, before May certainly, they never liked dealing with email even when it was available. The request would usually be for three different lumps of the max they seemed to accept of 3 nights.

We could always cancel if the weather was rubbish and of course if you were there and the weather kicked up they didn't kick you out.

Things must have changed. Parleying some French is always helpful too.
