Thanks for your interest. Luckily Trotwood is one of four boats made by Andrews using a Seamaster hull so hopefully no leaks . . :)
 
If the boat has been out of the water for anytime it will almost certainly have
"dried out" will take a little while to tighten up as the wood will absorb a little water in the seams and expand to make the boat water tight when it is launched.
A perfectly normal thing which the boat builder will have taken into account when boat was first built.
Wooden boat hulls when new,were sometimes filled with water or sunk to speed up the process of making the seams water tight.

Obviously it was sunk before the fitting out was done.Some older boats if they had been out of the water for any time would take days to become waterproof


H,mm closer look tells me it is fibreglass hull so pls disregard all above :)

What a stunning looking boat....got serious boat envy here!

We saw it on the hardstanding last weekend when we went for a mooch around the sales pontoon (boatless at the mo having sold our seamaster earlier in the year).

Been missing the river more than I thought we would - may have to sort that out!

Totally agree. I wish we had the skill and the time to do something like that. Amazing job and lovely boat.

We will be boatless from Sunday. Allready looking for the next one. :)
