Looking to replace the domestic batteries, aiming for 300-400Ah at 12V. Many of the learned pundits here advocate Trojan T-105s https://www.tayna.co.uk/T-105-Trojan-Battery-Deep-Cycle-T105-P7253.html for £145 but browsing the myriad possibilities (and that's just the Tayna website) I came across Trojan T105 Powerline https://www.tayna.co.uk/T105-Powerline-Battery-Deep-Cycle-P9005.html for only £120 each.

What's the difference between them? And should I be considering something else?

Normal usage is several weeks cruising, usually away from shore power but with 50W of solar and intermittent engine charging.

Difficult to know. Tayna state that the Powerline ones are made by Trojan, presumably badged Powerline for Tayna as an "own brand"

No mention of warranty but I note its only 1 year for the genuine Trojans

It might be useful to compare the weights.

Strikes me it would be possible to cheapen a battery by reducing the lead content while keeping the same enclosure.
