I can back up Mistroma's conclusion on water consumption (without such impressive mastery of detail though). My four six year old T105s vary from 30 to 50ml per cell per month to six weeks intervals that I check them.
We live aboard in the Med with 200W solar keeping them well above 50% charge almost continually. They get a mains or engine charge once a month or so just to bring them up to nailed on certain full charge.
These are replacements for a pair of T105s six years ago which had been fried by a Sterling mains charger that went faulty (was putting out AC). Its replacement CTEK charger went faulty in a lightening storm. Consequently I won't leave the replacement mains charger on. Less to go wrong on a solar regulator with not quite so worrying consequences.
Our four T105s were only installed in November last year. I have topped them up just twice. The second time was yesterday. They dont seem to use much water but they dont get discharged below 80% and usually not below 85%. The main load on the batteries at anchor (how we spend 99% of our time when not sailing) is a fridge freezer and a fridge. We have 720w of solar and wind turbine at anchor. Once the batteries get to float we use the solar to heat hot water for showers and washing up but the batteries stay on float as long as it is sunny?
