Trim limit sender Alpha 1 generation 2

Does anyone have a wiring diagram for a Mercruiser Alpha 1 gen 2 trim limit switch , I found after finding broken wire on sender, traced cable inside engine bay, only to find that the bullet connectors weren't even connected, any idea's on how to connect replacement trim limit sender to trim pump, want to have trim limit wired up as it would of been leaving factory.

Try a call to Tom Parker of Tompa Marine. Not much he doesn’t know about this unit.

You will have a purple/white wire which goes via the trim limit switch so it cuts the power when the cylinder has extended to around 21 1/2 inches. The othwire from the trim switch connects to a blue/white wire at or near the trim pump.

The sender unit on the leg fails quite a lot they are not that expensive to buy on eBay and easy to replace but make a separate hole to route the wires as the designed route is a real ball ache. I did mine some time ago on the same leg and it took about an hour or so out of the water
