Well definately 4 but there maybe a few more lying around, you are welcome to them as they are no use to me, they are on the boat but I am due there the weekend so will pick them up.

thanks very much,so let me know where they are&i will see about collection, regards m m 1.

Hi Gavin
We don't need them - apparently?!
This advice may well explain why half the leg has disappeared /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif
Only joking - that's about the only thing that's not gone wrong with our leg recently:(

Did you buy them as part of an anode kit?

hi again, just a thought if you are south coast based,i could also collect from a dockmaster if that would work,we live in Reading by the way, regards m m 1.

Did you buy them as part of an anode kit?
**
no
I ve been billed for them , which seems a bit strange as I cant see any on the legs!
Mind you, I ve been billed for lots of things.. maybe this isnt my invoice /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

From memory, they may not be standard fittings, but are a good idea. To fit them, drill and tap the flat part of the hook-up forks either side of the leg and fit two anodes per leg. You'll know where when you look at it. Just extra protection.

Mine were part of an anode kit so if a supplying service agent is changing your anodes then they could have bought them as a kit, it is cheaper than buying them individually even throwing 2 away, would have thought they should bill them as a kit and not individual anodes.
If not fitted and billed individually then why should you pay for them?

MM1, Boat is in Norfolk and I am in Birmingham but if you PM me your address I will put them in the post for you on Monday.

Hi,the triangle anode is not vital, but it does help, mine will last a full season no problem, i think vital if stainless props are fitted!!!,regards m m 1.

Get your hands dirty and fit all the anodes yourself, having bought them direct from either Zincsmart or Z-Guard. They are dead easy to do if the boat is ashore. I usually use the former - very nice to deal with even though their website is somewhat antiquated.
Certainly save quite a few beer tokens in this way /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif
