Just purchased a Triana 25 which I need to get back from Scotland to Southampton. Does anybody have a suitable boat cradle that I could hire to transport it?? Any ideas welcome/suggestions.

Will also be looking for a new windscreen if anybody has one??

Talk to boat dealer who imports boats of that size as they are often delivered on those big wooden pallets with 2 bunks set out just like an American trailer, they often get cut up after use so you could be lucky

Could you support it on a flat bed lorry using the props yards use to support boats? As boats go in the water yards should have surplus ones they may hire.

Posted that note as requested.

A chum of mine just brought a Christina back from Alderney, he made up a cradle from sheets of ply over a couple of days. Get yourself and a box of tools up to Scotland!

More helpfully, try Shipley.

PM Le Scarron about the windscreen. He'll know the options. Maybe also ask at River Yar Boatyard as there's 2 Triana's in rebuild there.

I'm afraid I can't offer the help you are asking for, but I for one would appreciate some pics! :D
Regardless, congratulations, you've bought yourself a lovely boat indeed. :encouragement:
