Tri-buckle

I've just got round to reading the review of MOB devices in YM from last August and thought that the YM Recommended Tri-buckle device from Blue Sea Safety looks like a good idea. Unfortunately I don't seem to be able to get any more details as the phone number on the web site isn't answering.

Does anyone know if these are still made or if any alternatives are available.

They've stopped making them - I know because I got the very last one! A shame as they are a really good idea, recommended by the RNLI.

A cheaper and more readily avaialable solution is of the form . . .

Telling people/crew if you fall overboard you are dead. Recovery then involves bringing aboard a dead un. So it matters not how you do it.

Might I suggest a gaff for a 200lb marlin might be appropriate.
