Laying treadmaster in the near future
I know the 2 part epoxy is recommended as is sikaflex. 291, what about sikaflex ebt+?
Has anyone used it for this purpose?
it’s polyurethane based, used it to bed portholes recently.

I used a sikaflex type polyuethene to sick my treadmaster down about 12 years ago. I used gray colour to match the colour or the treadmaster. It stuck OK but if you use a high pressure washer don't spray it on the edges as it will lift the treadmaster

I have laid two alternative types of deck covering on fairly small areas, the cockpit floor on the Sadler using TBS and the seats on the Colvic with a plastic teak product. Both came with adhesives, the TBS with a polyurethane, although not Sikaflex, and the plastic teak with some black stuff in tubes. Both products have been i use for years and are well attached.

TBS now recommends Sikaflex 221 as adhesive and a MS Polymer (any) for the edges.

Sikaflex 221 is a non-sag PU adhesive sealant, the non-sag properties likely selected because they recommend applying it with a notched trowel before rolling on the TBS sheets.

The MS Polymer for the exposed edges is likely recommended because of its superior UV resistance compared to a PU based one.

Another good tip was to sand the edges of the sheets at 45° to create a "ramp" instead of a vertical edge that can catch toes or pressure washer streams.

I expect the same will work for treadmaster too.
