Does anyone have any advice on annual travel insurance policies that cover you while cruising abroad?

I am thinking of going into a yacht share partnership in Greece and am looking into general travel insurance to cover me while out there.

I have been insured with IHI for professional reasons, and still am. Althought not of the cheapest, I only can prize the service they offer.
Good luck.

I am now insured with Columbus Direct (a search engine will find them) whose "Super" policy has a maximum trip duration of 60 days and allows offshore sailing within its basic activity policy. I informed them that I will be sailing between countries and received written confirmation that this wouldn't invalidate the policy although offshore rescue isn't covered.

Whichever policy you choose, make sure the maximum trip duration suits and that the whole policy isn't invalidated if you sail offshore.

For me and my wife the annual cost is £89.25

Pantaenius do an annual travel policy that includes sailing cover - many standard insurance policies exclude it
