Plenty of daily flights to Nice from all London airports. Taxi from Nice airport to Antibes €65 with my tame taxi driver. About 30-45mins drive depending on traffic. PM me if you want his contact details

Plenty of helicopter services available from Nice airport, but the only static pad I know of in Antibes is on the IYCA. Good luck with that.

Failing all that, cabs are an easy if expensive option - ranks directly outside both terminals. The train is cheap (c.3 euro single) but it's a complicated 15 minute schlep to the station. There are two principal bus choices to get you to Antibes - the city buses are dirt-cheap (1e iirc) but are usually packed and stop everywhere, so it takes ages. You need to catch this from the main road outside the airport.

The (much better) alternative is the 250 bus which runs about twice an hour direct from both terminals. This is the express bus, only has one stop before Antibes. Costs something like 10e single, 15e return, but is an easy compromise.

Thats handy as I have to go to IYCA! but for sure will not be flying there.
Yes looked at railway stations and bit of a hike so definitely 250 bus for me.
Now just flight to sort out looks like Gatwick is the most promising.
Thank you your time with info.

Plenty of availability from Gatwick. BA and Easyjet the two big carriers. When are you going?

Coming in late to this one, but I wouldn’t discount the train. We use it all the time to get from Nice Airport to Beaulieu. The walk is no more than 10 mins from Terminal 1 (BA) more of a faf with Terminal 2 (EasyJet). With all the work for the new tram line you walk out of Tetminal 1 and follow the tram line to the station. Trains are every 30 mins or less and pretty cheap. They take 20 mins from Nice St Augustin to Antibes. The roads along the Coté d’Azur can get busy around rush hours and so the bus might suffer from traffic.

Also Uber is quite good and worth considering.

As Jimmy said, when are you heading down??

Here is a link to the bus timetable https://en.nice.aeroport.fr/Passeng...cycle/Bus-lines/Search-for-a-bus/(ville)/3120

Uber is very much working there. About e30 from airport to port. Loads of cars so summon one about 5 mins before you need it. I’m in Antibes this sunny weekend so I’ll warn the authorities that you’re coming :D. The forum fleet is mostly (5 of them) on left side of mole sud which shows as quai des evades de guerre on google maps. Hope you have a nice trip.

Thanks for info on taxis by the way what's French for taxi. I was last in Antibe over 25 yrs ago so hopefully they will have forgotten.

BTW it's Antibes not Antibe. You pronounce it Antibes because as a general rule in French you don't pronounce much of the last letter of most words. So London is written Londres but spoken "Lon drur"

Thanks Teach I was being lazy didn't check. As officer Crabtree would say in 'Allo 'Allo
"It's Nice to now"
Pressure off to get there now as boat staying to end of month. Might even go down in the campervan. Do you think there overnight parking for campervans on The I.Y.C. quay.

Jfm will know the answer to this better than me, but I don't think I've see anyone staying in a camper van anywhere in PV. I'd be surprised if the port allow it tbh.
