Transporting small RIB question

Yesterday we brought our tender (2.65m RIB) back from the boat and it just squeezed into my estate car with it deflated (the RIB that is) and the car seats down.

As I may not have this car when I undertake a return trip does the panel think it sensible/feasable to transport the thing on a roof rack and if so inflated or deflated?

Thanks

Nick

Dependng on weight of tender I would suggest....

If the RR can support the weight of the tender inflated then tie it on UPSIDE DOWN.

If the RR can only support it deflated then do that...

Otherwise... hmmmmm

I was being pedantic, I've had a bad day!. It looked the way it was typed that the dinghy would be heavier inflated. If you really wanted to be picky you could take into account wind loadings at various speeds.........but even I'm not that much of an anorak.......I hope!

Got a trailer spare at Ocean Village that transports a Jet Ski or a JetRib, so if you want to borrow it, PM me. Paul

Kind offer thank you Paul.

After the Xenon light row it may be safer for me to keep my car after all.........
