Transom mount flag pole/ensign socket?

I'm trying to find a transom mount flag pole / ensign socket for my 20' mobo.

Only problem is that the transom is nearly vertical so ideally need a socket that would allow the pole to be no more than 30 degrees (maybe 45 degrees max) from the vertical to give the right "look".

Having trawled the internet for the past 3 hours, I've run out of ideas .

Ideas, suggestions or web links please guys .

You could fix one of these on the transom which should give a rake of 30 degrees. (Assuming your staff is 1" diameter or so).

Just ordered one at £0.41 with discount. Postage is very steep @ £4.95 for a 3-10 day "economy" service. . Whatever happened to Royal Mail recorded 1st class for a fraction of the price?

Remains to be seen if i) they actually have it in stock and ii) they honour the price . Having said that, at least they e-mailed me an order confirmation.

Marine Megastore - poor service, pathetic!!!!!!!

Having waited 10 days and nothing yet turned up, I phoned MM to chase the order............

"Sorry, you'll have to go on live chat for order updates" say the lad who answers.

So I go on live chat only to be told " There is an issue with the item on this order so I will have it cancelled and credited".

If I hadn't chased the order, I'd still be waiting. They've come up with all the excuses under the sun but have offered an alternative from Plastimo @ £13.35 - no thanks, at least not from MM.

Seems that after I phoned them today they removed the link .

I literally can't find anything similar even on wholesaler sites such as Aquafax, Plastimo, Mark Dowland/Unipart and Osculati. What I'm after is something like this but at 30 degrees from the vertical http://www.aquafax.co.uk/html/product_specification.asp?ID=7627 to take a 22mm ensign/flag pole

Several on here. Inlcuding nice flush ones at 20 degrees. Sea-screw are an excellent supplier with integrity, in my experience. Even if they dont have quite what you want this time it is a good place to shop online for chandlery
