Hi All,

Found these Videos via Boattest.com. Very interesting what goes on when in the middle of the Atlantic and a problem occures.

See HERE

"Bermuda to Azores is a Big Hop, 1,818 miles in one hop requires long distance cruisers with big tanks and small engines. "

Cheers

Thanks for that.

Filled a glass that I hadn't planned on refilling!

Love Nordhavns, but I'll take one of Mapis's Pacific Expeditions anyday.

Well, they aren't actually "my" boats: I have no connection at all.
But yes, I did mention them here, and yes, I'm still convinced that anyone interested in a long range passagemaker would make himself a favour looking also at SD cats as an alternative to D trawlers.
Btw, they recently added some impressive 3D renderings in their site.

Do you mean the full version of the Nordhaven Atlantic Crossing Video? They sent us one ages ago and it is very very good.

Pm me your address and I will send it to you as soon as I dig it out from one of the boxes where it is hiding whilst the decorators are in

May
