Going to the Boat Show on Monday. Coming from Lee-on-Solent should I

1. Drive to Burseldon station and get the train in?
2. Drive to (???) and get a bus?
3. Drive in to Sout'n? In which case where do I park?

p.s. there are 2 of us so 2 lots of fares if public transport....
Anyone know how much car parks charge for all day parking?

Went by train last time as we live in Fareham, cheap enough and no faffing around trying to get in and out of car parks.

If you book train tickets several days ahead they are often much cheaper, even if you have to buy from the station itself.

West Quay quote £5 per day for all day parking, there is a web site under Southampton city Council that lists all the car parks, charges, opening hours etc.

I work in the centre (near dock gate 4) and I would not try and drive in and park, by train is the easiest, unless you're cycling or motorcycling.

This weekend will be interesting, with bestival on at the same time on the IoW.

I wouldn't bother with the bus unless you have a couple of days to spare.

I reckon go by car and then park somewhere like West Quay/Marlands/Cinema Complex/IKEA.

Or anchor off Netley Sailing club and sneak up to the marina in yer rubber duck :)
