[Happened on the Geneva-Lausanne autoroute. No casualties. Road was shut for 3 hours.]

That looks a big boat to be towing, even if it is a big 4x4.

It does look fast though so it may not weigh over much.

Judging by the signwriting the towist was "professional".

A professional offered to move my Centaur for me, behind a Landcruiser, or maybe a Patrol, he did say it may be on the limit weight wise. I recon it would be about 1Te over.

Should be OK if you keep it below 70mph.

That guy was pulling it with an old Jeep Cherokee. Having owned a couple, I can vouch for them being strong enough to pull, but that would probably be waaay over the towing limit (3000kg IIRC). I'd only consider a Disco/ RR/ LC for that job - anything less than a 4000kg capacity (the max possible) would be silly. Now, if I had a Ford F350 dually, I'd not bat an eyelid...
