Trailer suspension

I think I would wind round plenty of shock cord until I got the right support for the boat. You could also fit a safety stopper as in the fan belt, and just carry a spare length of shock cord. When it gives up you will know how long it lasts.

my Rayleigh Supermatic moped had a similar suspension arrangement on the front wheel. ............ ...........For the load you are carrying the wheels themselves would be sufficient provided you kept the speed down & did not have the tyre pressure too high. You could always give it a short test run to see how it goes. Then all the guess work would be unnecessary

Right. I visited trailer shop and showed him your photo. He had to hand the rubber 'bands' for the 200kg and 500 kg versions. €24 each for the 200. They are 50mm wide, which looks to be gap on your trailer. Alternative was 35mm, which are the very light box trailers.
Brand name was Trigano, so I googled that and found this: https://www.code-remorques.fr/9_trigano
Hope it helps.. Any more help PM me.

Thank you greatly. That is exactly what I was looking for. Not only that, but now I know the brand name I am able to find other parts for the trailer as well. Most useful.
