My boat is currently in dry stack, and although I can get it put on the maintenance racks to administer some TLC it’s a bit awkward as I have to take all my tools etc. down and can only do this during the operating times of the dry stack,
I would prefer to have it at home for a month or so ,so I can give it a good clean, sort out some electrics etc., get cups of tea etc. However I don’t have a trailer. Is it worth spending 3K ish on one or organising some sort of transport to pick up and drop of in the drive on a bunk, and get it transported back to the stack when I’ve finished tinkering? Not sure of the cost of this, also it means I don’t have to find somewhere to store the trailer.
Thought about hiring one but it’s very pricey.
Any thoughts?
