Trago Chandlery is really not worthy of the name and the prices are certainly nothing to shout about but the Macsalvors main store at Redruth is a dangerous emporium of wonders! I went in on Friday to see if they did battery cables and came out with a whistling kettle, a roll of hatchseal, a hole saw and a ferkin' hat!
The problem at Macsalvors is you buy a load of stuff in the shop that you didn't want but that will be useful, put it in the car, look up and see the other building and think "ooh I wonder if there's anything in there...". The answer is always yes, last time I ended up with a deck scrubber, cushion foam, a whole reel of 4mm nylon rope/string and various other bits. All that was after all the stuff I bought in the main shop too!
