Traffords insurance

Does anyone have any experience of insurance with Traffords? Their rates are a big improvement on the usual culprits but how do they perform when dealing with claims?

We are insured with Traffords. Never had to claim so can't comment on that.
They are very helpful if you speak to them and will tailor the cover eg single handed, 12 months in commission, vary area of cover etc. etc.
Plus they are often cheaper than the competition. I googled them before switching and all the comments I was able to pick up (aircraft , travel, motor insurance) were positive.

I switched last year to make a significant saving. As far as I could tell, it's a like-for-like policy compared to others that seem to cost more! Taking out the policy was straightforward and as alahol2 says, checks before hand came up with no adverse reviews. Don't know about claims handling..........and hope to keep it that way!

been using them for at least 20years, for boats, house and cars, had 2 claims [one boat hit by lightning on versemeer in holland, much bucks, brilliant service from traffords , same with car accident . Havnt had any claims in recent years, but they are family co, old man is tops ,and 2 sons i Greg for boat ins, 2, jeff for car, both still there , and no I am not related ,or on commission!
