Does anyone know if these guys are still open?
I'm trying to buy some replacement acrylic and seals for my Konsort main cabin windows, but the website doesn't let you purchase and no response on the phone or email.

Failing getting in touch with Trafalgar, any thoughts on good places to get cut to measure acrylic?

Tried texting as suggested on the website "can always be contacted by text on 07889 304854"?

Seals direct, bu t there was another mentioned a few weeks ago, for the the seals

You dont say where you are!

Sunlight Plastics in Waterlooville to get acrylic cut for windows but there are several others that may be more convenient Eagle boat windows, Hadlow marine......... Project plastics in Colchester, Seaclear in Maidstone

Alternatvely a local shop fitting or plastics supplier or internet supplier but someone who specialises in boat windows may be more likely to have the colour and thickness you require and be able to cut to a template

There was a recent post on the WOA forum with some rather harsh comments about being unable to contact Trafalgar Yachts. There was a comment that Caroline Hardy was in hospital following a major operation and the shop was temporarily closed. It would appear that the post has been deleted, probably due to the unfair comments considering the situation.
 
Thank you all, it does sound like they're not open at the moment for whatever reason. Hopefully they're up and running at full health soon.

Weather depending I'll take the old windows out over Easter and make a template as I don't know the corner radius or thickness otherwise.
I don't have a jigsaw so online is probably easiest. I'll also have a look at seals direct, as I doubt the originals are reusable after 40 years!

If you have taken the old windows out then a supplier will cut to those if you can get them to him. Thats what I did, but had to have two of them preshaped to fit the curve in the cabin sidesusing the old ones as moulds

Good idea to get the edges/ corners rouned off at the same time

BTW If you stick something over the openings while the windows are out don't use parcel tape............ Dont ask!

Hah! White masking tape isn’t that great either. Don’t ask :nonchalance:
 
If these are the original windows which have a main frame holding the perspex and an inner two-part frame, then replacing the perspex is no simple task. The outer main frame needs to come apart into two pieces. Unless you have done it before I suggest you only get one out to start with and try re-glazing that one before taking them all out!
There are some companies that will do it for you and some U-tubes showing how to do it, but getting that outer frame apart is very difficult. While you are at it you might as well replace the perspex with toughened glass - they look much better and wont ever go cloudy or get scratched. On my Fulmar it was one of the first things I had done ( unfortunately the firm that did it for me is no longer in business). Luckily a PO of my current boat had already had it done by the same firm in Birmingham.

I will be very careful with the tape I use then, thanks for the heads up!
I did 2 of the 4 several years ago, it took a day for both but we did have all the pieces on hand and some lovely dry weather.

Trafalgar have announced that the Fareham shop will be closing and they will be having a sale of stock.

However for the next few months the shop will be open part time. Please ring before visiting to check stock and opening hours. The telephone numbers on the Trafalgar advert on this site listed under Member Services - Suppllers of Westerly Spares and Services are valid and a home telephone number has been added to the contact box in case the shop is not attended.

WOA is aware of the need for members to have continuity of supply of Westerly specific parts and will be working with TYS to that end. WOA will also be taking over stewardship of TYS build records.
