Traditional Boats in Classic Fiction

The works of Arthur Ransome are full of interesting boats; I especially liked the little schooner 'Wild Cat' in 'Missee Lee', lost in the China Sea and later 'replaced' with a Chinese Junk...

And I the Baltic schooner Sea Bear in 'Great Northern?' Plus of course his Swallow, Amazon, and Scarab in The Lake novels -- together with the Broads cruiser Teasel.

And then of course Forester's famous African Queen.
