Trad' Rally. Fantastic day.

Visited above today.
Fantastic day. Lovely weather (not too hot!) and a beautiful variety of boats.
Acres of gleaming varnish and burnished brass. Some lovely people and .... oh, the odd eccentric!!
Kiddies traditional funfair, some lovely cars both pre and post war, good boat jumble and an excellent real ale bar with a nice variety of eateries (+lots more).
Lots of people but no crowds.
On again tomorrow. I may go back again.
Oh, and rides on the steam launch Alaska. Magical silence.

PS; Lady Gay (of this forum) looked stunning.

Harumphhhhh......yesterday it took us THREE HOURS to get from T&K to Marsh Lock due to traffic and queues. After waiting 45 minutes at Marsh we gave up and turned back.

Never mind, we thought: we'll skip lunch and beers at the Angel and just head back to the G&D as the moorings were empty on the way down.

Empty? Yes....because the bl**dy place was closed for a wedding party!
