Hi,

My new to me 2006 Sealine F34 has a Tracvision M3 tv system on it, unfortunatley I can't get it to work, the dish will not power up or rotate, I have had a quick test and it appears to be getting 31.5 volts to the dish, it is free to manually rotate but otherwise it appears dead! there is nothing obvious, broken belts etc. I have also rest the box that controls the dish. What I am after is either any guidance or a good recommended Tracvision engineer. The boat is in Conwy North Wales.
Thanks in advance.
Mark

Just ran diagnostics on my M3 and it shows antenna voltage of 41.8, so you may have an issue there.

Hi Nick_H,
Thanks for replying. Sorry not replied earlier.
Nick, when I did a diagnostic check I too was getting 41v at the controller, but 31v at the dish, not sure if a 10v drop over about 6m is acceptable. If you or any other forumites have any thoughts let me know. Alternatively still looking for a decent electronics guy around North Wales, who knows what he's doing!

Hi Mark

Have you tried Oz at Oznarine ? He is local to you and also does a lot of work in Pwllheli

Strange, mine shows 41.8V at the dish, and 13.6V (which is effectively battery voltage, though in my case it's from a 24v-12v step down transformer) at the controller.

Either way though it seems you need an engineer. I'm not sure if C A Clase are still the UK distributor, if so it may be worth asking them for service dealers in your area.

Hi Mark

Oz has worked on mine and several other pals boats in Pwllheli.

You will need to speak to him re Tracvision as I am unsure. If phoning him be mindful he originally is from Turkey, extremely helpful, but English is his second language.

Cheers

Bernard
