I'm trying to find who made or makes Mayland boats. I want to find out the original weight of their various makes of boats. My quick Internet searches haven't produced anything helpful - any ideas?
Regards,
Hal.

I know they were made at Maylandsea on the River Blackwater, and they made things that looked a lot like Micro Plus boats from the 60s.

I've found an article about a day/fishing boat called the Mayland 13 from Mayland Marine, Steeple Road, Lower Mayland, Essex CM3 6BE (PBO 1970)

My well thumbed and treasured 1988 Daytons guide to Motorboats lists Mayland Marine at Steeple rd, Mayland, Chelmsford, Essex with a contact name of mr J.L. Knights as a partner. It shows two models that were in production at that time being the Manta, a 6.15 m simulated clinker cruiser designed by Alan Hill and the Safari a 6.25m boat designed by Oliver Lea. The book contains a picture and brief details of each model.

Were you able to find an answer to this question as I too am looking for Mayland spares for my Mayland Mistrel.
