Re: West Ham

Yeah, what have you lot done to poor old Nige Winterburn. Not kind making an old man like him wheeze up and down the touchline like some kind of wing-back. Probably hasn't got the strength to put his arm up.

Quick get a gun

Kim
Quick get your gun. With a few well aimed shots we could rid the world of a few footballing air heads and leave more room for the superior pure boating race. Never in the field of human conflict would so many owe so much to so few, we would be aclaimed as the saviours of the free world. No longer to be plagued by the inane tones of the football reporter every weekend. The air waves would be free to carry the majestic coverage of the class 1 powerboat heats and all things floaty.

So come on get off your bum and do the right thing, cast them into the depths of the sin bin never to be seen again (or at least until tomorrow).

You know it makes sense....

Re: agincourt

Except this time the Frogs have learned a thing or two and the English are led not by Laurence Olivier (far better than Ken Brannagh) but by a red-nosed incontinent Scots twit. Stiffen the sinews, summon up the blood, let the North Bank cry havoc and let slip the dogs of war.

Re: Pie \'n Mash - dont start me off!

No chance in Merseyside. Blank looks if savaloys mentioned, enquiered in a chip shop as to what fish was available, answer "Fish". Some wicked black pudding though.
Did anybody else try the mackerel and goosberry jam. Tasty.
