Touch-start LED lights

The existing wired 12v fittings will, progressively, have LED bulbs retro-fitted as above.

I am toying with the idea of wiring 3 LED units in series and running them off the boat battery. I would short out two of the units switches and use the third as the on/off switch, or short out all three and use a separate switch.

The units don't have to be in a cluster, they can be spread around, but it would still be 3 on / 3 off.

Why not just convert your existing light?
