Decided to make a run for Weymouth today, after checking weather forecast for next few days, had been booked to stay another couple of nights in Torquay , quick check of almanac re tidal streams and best time's for arriving at Portland bill, realised left it a bit late, but as it being neap's reconned that would not be any problem, wind from west, tidal stream going east, left as soon as rain stopped, good crossing ,big swell ,boat handles it with ease, rounded the bill close better conditions than could have hoped for, got into Weymouth decided to refuel ready for dash tomorrow , the chap operating feul pump overfilled one tank so much that diesel soaked half the aft cockpit, and side covers, he apologised and left us to clear up, thought had done a good job,but still smells of diesel any tips for getting rid of smell, washed down with fairy and washing powder,
