Having issues with my Torqeedo Travel throwing up Error 30 constantly.
The manual says E30 is a faulty connection with the main power cable. I've blasted out the connectors with contact cleaner several times. I can't see any damage on the visible parts of the connector or cable.
I connect it up in the usual way - power first then the tiller. It powers up ok. But as soon as I turn the throttle I get E 30. The error clears if I take the throttle back to centre but returns as soon as a move it again.
I can occasionally get the motor to turn after reconnecting/waggling the power cable. But its not reliable. If I centre the throttle or reverse it I'll get E 30 again.
I did wonder if it might be a bad connection on the 4 small data pins in the connector and have paid particular attention to making sure they and their sockets are clean and have checked their alignment. Visually they look ok. I've also tested it with a different battery. Same results.
Any help would be really appreciated!
