Even if I say so myself, I think my battery locking pin is much better than the original plastic pin. Lock it all to the tender , it's all locked on.

It looks like you created a one piece metal rod…but doesn’t the original plastic piece have two rods so that the battery and housing can be secured together ?

No, one rod straight through 10mm aly the holes on the battery case have to be drilled out to 10 but it goes through the motor casing.

Ok...my memory tells me that the original plastic piece was a long fork...but my memory is old and so is my Torqeedo so the design might have changed
