I'm repainting a 1960's plywood dinghy. After nine coats of Epifanes on the inside I'm now onto the outside.
I'm getting a bit confused with the "overcoating times" given in the Technical Data sheets. Do the coats of the different paints all have to follow in quick succession or am I overthinking this? Can I leave it a week or so between the different paint types
I've applied a couple of coats of Yacht Primer onto the bare wood within the last two days.
I plan to put on a couple of coats of Pre-Cote next weekend
And a couple of coats of Toplac a few weekends later
