Took me less than half an hour.....

Well, I'm a bit miffed that no-one seems impressed with my magnificent empty wheelhouse.

I'm considering using it for a farmers market on friday mornings and perhaps a drop-in coffee and tabnabs bar at weekends.
Do you think I could raise some funds for the 2011 registration ?

You'll need to bring your own chairs and tables of course ...... :D

Rumour has it that Oldgit might bring his new beast upriver to moor alongside in which case we might be able to arrange sheltered housing accommodation .....

I know the feeling, there's so many. 2 engines, 4 batteries, mains + 12v wiring, 4 throttle + 4 gearbox cables and trying to get round it all when you are working. Most of my electrical gremlins disappeared when I fitted 2 new fuse boxes, gues its just age and the high dampness inside boats. But we love it (dont we?).

Out of interest what was your reason for dismantling it?

Rumour has it that he dropped a thruppneebit in the bilge !

Sod it - I can remember thruppnebits !!!!

My Nan used to give me a fruppeny bit to put in the Collection Box when she sent me off to Sunday School. I used to spend tuppence on myself and put in a penny. I figured God would want me to be happy on Sundays.

Remember it well Byron. I also remember the task of standing in a sweet shop deliberating over 'what selection' of sweets I would buy for 3d !!! Today's equivalent are the kids pondering over mobile phone contracts that dont deplete 'all' the money given to them by their parents etc.

Feeling dizzy, need to sit down.
