Too Much Money?

On our local radio after the news bulletin they have an item called stupid news. Last Monday after the Monaco Grand Prix they reported that a lady berthing her super dooper mega bucks yacht in Portsmouth, cancelled her guests and a trip to Monaco to watch the Grand Prix after she went on board her yacht only to find that the wrong types of orchards were displayed in the vases.

Some people have too much money in my opinion!

Well IMHO said lady is a silly moo. For xxxxs sake who goes to the Monte Carlo GP the check out the xxxxing Orchards, or even Orchids? \Shoudn't one go to an Horti whatsits to check out such things?
.Hope her digital signal crapped out on her, also hope she was Schumaker fan, she clearly has too much time on her hands or is rubbish at selecting guests. I make damn sure nobody complains about orchids on my boat, rule is, anybody who complains about colour or quantity of Orchids never gets another invite! Same applies to the pillocks that ask where they are. Toxxxrs

The yacht in question did have a very fine collection of "Phalaenopsis" orchids but I do know that the reasons for late sailing had nothing to do with the florists and more to do with getting some jobs finished up.

In which case aforementioned lady not silly moo, but incorrectly quoted as to reason for her cancelled trip. Hence her denial of story. Humble apols to her.

Maybe the news prog bit titled 'silly news' should be renamed, incorrect and silly news, or maybe just 'figments of imagination'.
