Boat is still on the hard,no tide to launch for a while and it's 35ºC outside.I'm going down there later today when it cools down a bit to sand the keel in preparation for painting.

Can anyone help me locate the Smiley for 'I hate you' ?

I aborted Fleetwood to Preston in March- oh no, not March, yesterday!... :p

well it was 24 degrees at East Head today, very sunny and perfect for a BBQ. As luck would have it, my boat wasn't in the carpark waiting for painting, and I have just bought a dinghy so I could get to the beach to have said BBQ. Can anyone help me find the smiley for smug? ah there it is

Mallaig today: 14°, cloud base between 50 and 100 meters, drizzle since 15.00.
The scenery is stunning, if only I could see it.

Went for a short sail yesterday in brilliant sun and not much wind. (on a club boat Bakewell White 8) Normally a very hot machine.
Got a little sun burnt but very pleasant at 23 degrees. Yes like sctpc this is supposed to be mid winter.
To the OP winter is for work on boat summer is for sailing or when it is really hot long cold drinks under a shady tree. Don't get confused like mad dogs and Englishmen. olewill

It has been 27 degrees in Naples today with a nice F2-3 to keep us cool beside the water while we had our Yacht Club Summer Party.

Kids sailing Optimists, adults sailing dinghies, and me drinking beer and eating great food. What else could anyone want?

I am sailing every day this week, helping to run the club's Competent Crew Course (Italian-style), so today was for some beer, good company and home in time to watch the Grand Prix.

'Contented sigh..........'

:D
